Submitting an abstract for a conference or journal requires careful attention to guidelines and formatting requirements. Below are the step-by-step instructions and essential guidelines to ensure a smooth submission process.
Abstract Preparation – Before you Start
- Review the abstract topic categories
- Prepare your abstract in Microsoft Word or a plain text document
- Have the names, institutions, and email addresses of all co‐authors readily available
- The abstract submitter is listed as the first author and presenting author. The primary author cannot be changed after submission. There can only be ONE presenting author. There cannot be co-presenting authors.
- Ensure that all authors who contributed to the work are included. Authors’ names should be entered as they would appear in the published abstract
- Trainees should confirm with advisors that the authors’ names and author order are complete and correct.
- Changing the order of the authors or removing authors after submission will incur a revision fee.
- Have your credit card number ready to pay the nonrefundable submission fee
- The option to apply for a Student/Postdoc Competition Award or Early Career Travel Award will be presented during the abstract submission process and is based on eligibility. New in 2025 – Student/Postdoc Travel Award Recipients have to apply separately. Click here for more information.

- Introduction (10 points) – The introduction strongly demonstrates that the literature has been thoroughly reviewed. The introduction is a clear, detailed, and concise overview of the problem. The knowledge gap is clearly stated. that you have thoughtfully reviewed the literature and have developed an in-depth understanding of the field.
- Research Aim/Objective (5 points) – Based on the presented background and knowledge gap, a specific, clear, and testable research aim / objective is stated. exactly what your research project sought to accomplish.
- Materials and Methods (10 points) – The methods provide a strong, clear, organized explanation of the methodology. …exactly how you conducted your research, including (if appropriate) information about your sample, data collection process, and technique for data analysis.
- Results (10 points) – The results are clear and directly connected to the purpose of the study. The results strictly follow the presentation of the methods. The results provide data without interpretation. a summary of the data that was collected and the results of the analyses conducted. Be sure not to interpret the data.
- Discussion (10 points) – The discussion is explicitly informed by / linked to the presented results. The discussion clearly contextualizes the work within the broader field. …The interpretation of your data, with an explanation of how your research fits within the broader context of the field.
- Significance and Implications (5 points) – Importance of the work is clearly communicated using a well-structured, logical argument, that is fully supported by the study results. …the impact of your research. Convince the reader, within the limits of your scope, that your work is important.
What is an Open-Access Journal?
Guidelines:
- Abstract body should be a minimum of 300 characters and maximum of 2,400 characters, excluding spaces
- Images and tables are not accepted or published with the abstract. Abstracts are text only.
- Authors are not permitted to submit an abstract on previously published work unless the abstract represents further progression of the published research.
- For research using human subjects, All International Conference endorses the protections embodied in the Basic Principles of the Declaration of Helsinki and their expansion in the regulations governing research supported by the U.S. Government (45 CFR Part 46; 56 FR 28003). All International Conference does not endorse and will not publish results of research not conducted in accordance with these principles. Investigations involving animals reported in abstracts must have been conducted in accordance with the FASEB Statement of Principles for the use of Animals in Research and Education.
- By submitting an abstract, submitters agree that, if their abstract is selected for poster presentation, they will upload and narrate a virtual poster AND present at the in-person meeting during their programmed presentation. Exceptions will be made to authors who select a virtual poster option only. Virtual posters will only be viewable by registered attendees.
- You may be first author or co-author of multiple abstracts provided that each submission represents distinct research.
- Abstracts must be written in English.
- All International Conference, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to decline abstracts regarded as inappropriate.
By submitting the abstract, the author certifies that:
- Each author listed on the abstract must have contributed to the study; and each author consents to be listed in informational and promotional materials including the itinerary planner.

- Agrees to the Scientific Integrity Policy
- Revising or withdrawing an abstract after submission will incur a fee and is subject to the revision or withdrawal policies and deadlines.
- You may be first author or co-author of multiple abstracts provided that each submission represents distinct research.
- Only approved abstracts will be scheduled for presentation and publication. All International Conference, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to decline abstracts regarded as inappropriate.
- Programmed and approved abstracts will be published in a supplement to either Developmental Dynamics (all scientific research abstracts) or Anatomical Sciences Education (all education research abstracts)
Abstract Submission Fee
There is a $90 non-refundable submission fee for each submitted abstract.
- All abstracts must be submitted electronically.
- Payment is required at time of submission. Purchase orders are not accepted for payment.
- Payment may be made with Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit cards. A receipt of the abstract handling charge will be emailed to the first author only.
- Submitting an abstract does not register you for the conference. Registration is a separate fee. You must register for the conference to be able to present your abstract during the conference. See registration for more details.
- If an abstract is withdrawn, the submission fee cannot be refunded.
- All accepted abstracts will be published in a supplement to either Developmental Dynamics (all scientific research abstracts) or Anatomical Sciences Education (all education research abstracts). Abstracts will be published by May 2025.
All submitters will be notified by the end of june 2025 of the specific date, time, and presentation format. In the meantime, please make your registration, travel and housing arrangements as soon as possible.
